TenX Ventures Acquires Sparling Instruments, Inc.

El Monte , CA – May 27, 2008. TenX Ventures, LLC announces the acquisition of Sparling Instruments, Inc., a leading manufacturer of flow measurement solutions. Headquartered in El Monte , California , Sparling designs and manufactures flow meters for the water and waste water flow measurement markets, as well as for general industrial flow measurement markets. The company’s product lines include the TigermagEP™ line of magnetic flow meters as well as lines of propeller and vortex meters.

With the acquisition, Yosufi Tyebkhan, TenX Ventures Managing Partner, will become President of Sparling Instruments.  “Sparling has a long established history in flow measurement, with well known product lines and long standing customer relationships," said Mr. Tyebkhan.   He added: “We are very excited by the opportunity to build on the almost 100 years of history to grow the firm through investment in sales, operations and product development.

Steve Kim, Sparling’s current President, will remain in an advisory role through a transition period.
