How It Works
High frequency sampling of up to 100 Hz filters out inherent noise that comes with troublesome flows. This makes the TigermagEP ideally suited to applications with high levels of inherent noise including: • process chemicals
• heavy sludge
• pulp & paper stock
• mining slurries
• polymers
Mag-CommandTM is an internal menu-driven software package, available on both the TigermagTM and TigermagEPTM, that allows you to program your meter with yes/no commands by means of a simple magnetic probe and two hall-effect sensors mounted on the display face of the meter. Each menu step is clearly displayed on the readout.
By advancing through Mag-Commands simple yes/no logic tree you can set flow rate and total, set security locks, select engineering units, modify full scale settings, select analog or pulse outputs, set damping and low flow cutoff and others.
The TigermagTM with Mag-CommandTM was the first meter of its' kind to allow the setting of meter variables without opening the electronics enclosure. This feature maintains the NEMA-7 explosion proof rating of the electronics enclosure and protects delicate electronics from damage due to environmental hazards.
