TigermagEP Applications/Features
The TigermagEP^TM features high frequency DC excitation which provides superior performance in "noisy" applications. Sludge, slurry, pulp and paper stock - applications with high levels of inherent noise are ideal for this meter.

The TigermagEP is available in a wide range of sizes, electrodes and liner materials providing maximum flexibility to meet your process measurement needs. The integral housing is rated to both NEMA-4X/NEMA-7 ratings. The TigermagEP^TM is also available with a NEMA-4X optional batch controller for an economical alternative in solving your batching needs.

EEPROM-based memory holds the meters' identity resident in the sensor providing instant compatibility between all TigermagEP modules - K factors, offset, meter size are all retained.

Accuracy
Standard accuracy is ±0.5% of rate and is unaffected by changes in temperature, pressure, viscosity or conductivity. All Sparling meters are wet flow calibrated in our NIST traceable Primary Flow Labs. A meter record certifying its accuracy is furnished with each meter.

Setup
Programming is done with familiar Mag-Command^TM programming logic trees. HART® Protocol is available. 4-20mA, RS232 or RS485 outputs give you flexibility when interfacing with your DCS.

Diagnostics
TigermagEP^TM offers "on the fly" diagnostics - no need to shut down the meter - no need to open the electronics enclosure - AT ALL!

• OUTPUT CURRENT CHECK - Exercises 4-20mA output without opening and exposing the electronics.

• COIL DRIVE CHECK - On demand displays the current being furnished to the coil to check coil drive circuit, wiring, coil.

• FRONT END INPUT SIMULATOR - Brings in input signal to measuring circuit to check calibration of input.

• OUTPUT FREQUENCY - Generates selectable output frequency to check attached devices.

• 75% SIMULATOR - Exercises all circuits including alarms and displays.

• ENGINEERING UNIT CHANGE or rescaling, direction, totalizer allows fast startup checks in Mag-Command^TM.
